Editor: Richard Welford - rwelford@hkucc.hku.hk

Aims and Scope of the Journal
Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management provides a practical resource for the ever increasing number of organisations who undertake environmental audits, apply environmental management systems and are interested in associated corporate environmental management tools. The focus of the journal is on practical case studies, the reporting of best practice, debate on the effectiveness of tools and knowledge about important developments in the area. It discusses issues of methodology, principles, practice, science, technology and law. It is a refereed journal and contributions of a high quality aimed at an interdisciplinary audience are invited.

Coverage of the Journal
Published four times a year this journal aims to provide accessible information to researchers, practitioners, policy-makers and businesses. It provides the most up-to-date analysis of the effectiveness and use of corporate environmental management tools, EMS systems and standards and points to new developments in the field. Papers of both a practical and conceptual nature should address the needs of people working directly in the field of environmental management. Whilst the main coverage of the journal is business related, papers sometimes examine the use of systems, audits and other tools in the wider context of regional planning, economic development and consequences for effective policy implementation. A wide range of papers covering the traditional business management areas is encouraged including marketing, economics, strategic planning, law, accounting, operations management and human resource management.
